Curriculum
Statement of Intent
Our curriculum will develop independent life-long learners through teaching knowledge and skills. Under pinned by our own school values. Through high expectation of achievement and exposure to the wider world, children will be equipped and have the confidence to take opportunities in their future lives as global citizens.
Whole School
- Nursery & Reception - EYFS
- Year 1 & 2 - Key Stage 1
- Years 3 & 4 - Lower Key Stage 2
- Years 5 & 6 - Upper Key Stage 2
Our curriculum is on a two year rolling programme:
- 2024 - 2025: Cycle A
- 2025 - 2026: Cycle B
- 2026 - 2027: Cycle B

English
Phonics & Spelling: We follow 'Little Wandle' phonics for EY & Year 1. We use 'Decision Spelling' in years 2-6.
Reading: Please see Reading for more information on progression and how to support your child.
Writing: We use talk for writing to teach sequences of writing across the school.
Maths
We use the White Rose Hub and NCETM Maths Mastery for our Maths Planning.
